What happens after I sign up?

First you'll get a welcome email from your Resurface account engineer, who will be your contact for whatever you need. Your account engineer will review hosting options with you, and provision your private database. Then your account engineer will help with configuring loggers for your apps and APIs.

How do I get technical support?

Simply contact your Resurface account engineer via Slack or email. We always aim to reply within 24 hours, and priority support options are available. We don't offer telephone support at this time.

Are my favorite database tools supported?

More than likely, yes. Resurface is a standard SQL database that works with most third-party tools. Ask your account engineer if you need help connecting to your database or running queries.

Who can access my data?

Just you and other users with whom you've knowingly shared access. Your data is stored to an isolated database instance that is dedicated to your account. Your data cannot be accessed by members of our staff. Our privacy policy gives more details.

How is my data protected?

We follow accepted industry standards to protect data logged in your database, both during transmission and once stored. Our privacy policy give more details.

Can I exclude data from being logged?

Yes, logging rules can be configured to exclude or mask specific data elements, or to exclude a percentage of logged messages. Ask your account engineer if you need any help configuring rules.

How do I cancel my service?

Contact your account engineer or technical support at any time. Billing will stop on the day that service is cancelled. All logged data is immediately and permanently deleted when service is cancelled.

Do you offer discounts for prepayment?

Yes, ask your account engineer about options.

Do you offer discounts for startups, non-profits, educators or students?

Yes, ask your account engineer if you qualify.
